Ali Wasti is a Vice President at Azure Capital Partners specializing in cloud infrastructure, enterprise, communications, SaaS and mobile technologies. He serves as a Board Observer for Breaktime Studios.
Prior to joining Azure, Ali was a successful technology executive and investor. He has over 10 years of operating experience in various leadership roles. He most recently worked as a business development executive at IBM with global responsibility to grow IBM’s Information Management and Analytics software businesses. In this capacity, he helped launch IBM’s OEM software business and led deals with companies of all sizes worldwide. In the past, he has held product management and senior development positions in enterprise software. Ali has also spent time at Mohr Davidow Ventures, where he focused on enterprise and cloud infrastructure investments. Ali started his career at Belzberg Technologies, helping build the real-time financial software company's support infrastructure.
Ali holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School where he won the Venture Capital Investment Competition, was the CFO of the Venture Capital and Private Equity club and was the Assistant Producer of the HBS Show.
